About
Hi! My name is Avery, and I'm the face behind Avenue 122. The concept for Avenue 122 was created in my bedroom in 2022, though I didn't officially launch until June of 2024.
The name? It’s a little nod to me—friends and family often call me “Ave” or “Aves,” which, conveniently, looks a lot like the abbreviation for “Avenue.” As for the “122”? That’s a creative twist on my birthday—December 2nd (12/2). Super original, I know.
Avenue 122 began as a boutique where I curated pieces I loved by sourcing from various wholesalers. But I quickly came to a difficult realization: the business model I was building felt unfulfilling. Even more troubling, it was both size-exclusive and environmentally unfriendly—two qualities that unfortunately tend to go hand-in-hand in the fashion industry. I wanted to change that, and I did.
Avenue 122 is built on intention, individuality, and a respect for the planet. It’s made up of two core sections: Reloved and Reworked.
Reloved
This is where I give beautiful, pre-loved pieces a second chance. These are garments that are still in great condition—too special to cut up, too meaningful to waste. Instead of letting them end up in a landfill, I offer them as-is to new fashionistas that will appreciate their story.
Reworked
This is the heart of my creative process. Every piece in the Reworked collection is handmade by me using secondhand materials, deadstock fabrics, and vintage garments. Each design is one-of-a-kind, sewn with care and intention. It's fashion that honors individuality and reduces waste—without sacrificing style.
At the end of the day, Avenue 122 is more than just clothing—it's a love letter to conscious fashion, creativity, and self-expression. Whether it’s a Reloved piece with a past or a Reworked original with a new story to tell, everything here is curated with care, intention, and a whole lot of heart.
